MISSION STATEMENT:

Godz Sphynx main goal is to raise healthy and happy Sphynx cats, and to provide these cats with the very best homes.

POLICY

1.) Godz provides our Sphynx with a clean and loving cattery environment. Lots of hugs and kisses, and all are treasured.
2.) Godz provides our Sphynx with a top quality diet.
3.) Godz provides fresh, clean drinking water at all times.
4.) Godz provides exceptional health care for our Sphynx, and we consult with or visiting a licenced veterinarian as necessary.
5.) Godz plans each breeding with the intention of that particular breeding improving the breed and never for purely commercial reasons.
6.) Godz will not breed our females before a minimum of six months, nor will any Sphynx be bred repeatedly in a manner which would endanger her mental or physical health, or that of her babies.
7.) Godz will not knowinly breed or sell any Sphynx that we determine to have a genetic or health condition. We do provide testing and keep up to date on health research or information pertaining to our breed.
8.) Godz will not allow a kitten to go to their new home until it reaches the age of 16 weeks, and we believe it ready to leave its mother and it is mentally ready for an environment change.
9.) Godz prefers not to ship our kittens, but will consider it based on circumstances.
10.) Godz will honestly evaluate the quality of all show-quality Sphynx that are offered for breeding service and fairly represent that evaluation. No Sphynx judged to be of inferior quality shall be sold for breeding purposes or without full disclosure of these concerns.
11.) Godz will not knowingly sell any Sphynx, nor will we allow any of our Sphynx to be used in a breeding where the offspring are intended for sale, to wholesalers or pet stores. Potential breeders who purchase a Godz Sphynx must also be prepared to prove their intentions, and have shown in CFA or TICA.
12.) Godz will make every possible effort to ensure that the buyers of our Sphynx are not making an uninformed, impulse purchase and can provide appropriate, long-term care. It is mandatory that our buyers understand the unique requirements that Sphynx cats have, and that they are not to be outdoor pets.
13.) Godz will provide rescue services free of charge to any Sphynx we have bred.
14.) Godz supports and conducts only ethical and honest record keeping, animal management and sales practices. We will keep accurate pedigrees, breeding, registration, and health records and will make this information available upon request to individuals who purchase one of our animals.
15.) Godz cattery is accessible, by appointment, to anyone wishing to visit. We love for you to visit us.
16.) Godz will at all times maintain any required state, or local licensing.
17.) Godz advertises honestly through various sources, and this website, and not in any way be fraudulent or misleading. A written copy of our policies and guarantees will be made available to all customers and potential customers.
18.) Godz will continue to study Sphynx, and consult with other owners, breeders, and veterinarians. We are always seeking to increase our knowledge and to share what knowledge we have with others.
